In order to provide quality programs for the young individuals of our society, OUTWARD BOUND is backed by a dedicated, qualified team, as well as a team characterized by acceptance and mutual trust.

With us, children, teenagers and young adults are accompanied in unique experiences and adventures in nature and accompanied by a professional team. Around 25 permanent employees, educators, social workers, businessmen, sports scientists, mountain guides, Bufdi’s & FSJers and more than 50 trainers are currently employed by OUTWARD BOND. Here we work together at the highest level in mutual respect and openness. Our program managers have many years of experience in designing experiential education courses and outdoor training for school classes, trainees and individual applicants/private individuals.

If you have any questions or provide detailed advice, our program managers in the respective locations will be happy to help you at any time. They will gladly take the time to coordinate an individual program with you according to your wishes and goals.

Our trainers

…are specially trained, educated and assigned to OUTWARD BOUND depending on the course setting and required competencies.

Our trainers have many years of experience in accompanying learning processes of young people. In addition to experiential education or additional training, our trainers have specialized sports qualifications. We pay attention to regular safety and pedagogical training and further education. Our trainers are therefore optimally trained for the supervision of different groups and are able to respond individually to the group processes. All trainers passionately support value-oriented personal development and team building according to the OUTWARD BOUND philosophy.

The subjective psychological and physical sense of security of the participants and the trust placed in the trainers is the basis for an open exchange and profound development of the individuals within the group.

The human being, his personal development and a new improved value-based social coexistence, accompany me throughout my life and drive me. Nature, with which I feel very connected, is the perfect teacher. In the meantime, I am in my 6th year as an enthusiastic executive director at Outward Bound and am happy with my colleagues about many positive movements and projects. Especially now in times of increasing social distancing and digitalization, I see an even greater need for experiential education work and look forward to our joint successes.
